WHAT IS TRAXION?

Traxion is a network of successful executives and entrepreneurs who provide mentorship to early stage companies in Golden and the surrounding metro area.  

Traxion offers a network of industry experts, successful executives and experienced entrepreneurs who provide guidance on the process of starting and growing a company and share insights on industry trends, competition and market opportunities.

Support is provided in several ways:

• Customer Validation – We use the Lean Canvas method during the earliest stage of new venture exploration with an initial focus on Understanding the Problem. Many founders spend time developing or refining their idea or invention, but we encourage them to instead spend sufficient time on the problem – who has the problem, how it impacts them, and who might be willing to pay for a solution (the user with the problem isn’t necessarily who pays for the solution). Mentors provide guidance as well as introductions to industry experts and potential users.
  

• Team Formation – The founding team is usually more important than the business concept. Mentors can help founders evaluate their needs, identify gaps and provide introductions to potential team members, fractional executives or professional services experts.
  

• Business Model Development – Once the problem is validated and initial product/market fit is confirmed, guidance is provided on target customer definition, market opportunity assessment, customer acquisition and developing a financial model.
  

• Fund Raising – Traxion works with founders to determine capital needs and the optimal process for raising it.
